Since 2008...
VYTF now feeds
Visalia High Schools
In 2007 we were successful in expanding our league with 4 new
Bantam teams, the "Little" Minors, Blazers, Pioneers and Rangers.
The expansion marked the beginning of tackle football for our
youngest group, the 7 year olds... This is
non-competitive play,
focusing on the introduction of football, physical conditioning
and teaching the essential fundamentals of team play.

In 2008, VYTF expanded our Youth Football Program
by adding a
4th Senior Team and formed a
partnership with Visalia's
High School Football Program... finally fulfilling the need
for "Feeder" teams up to all 4 of our High
Schools!
The 49ers have become the Miners, Saints are now the Blazers,
the
Cowboys are now the Rangers, as well as the ALL NEW Pioneers
team.
Now, with the High School Varsity Head Coaches as Associate
Members
on the VYTF Board, their valuable input on training and
practice techniques,
to game day readiness will help us prepare more players for the
move up into a familiar high school program!
